does vaseline help eyebrows grow
Does vaseline really make eyebrows/eyelashes thicker?
Is there any evidence of this working, or is it just a myth?

Agreed- try castor oil every night! I've been using it for over a year now and it makes a big difference

I tried to use castor oil for a while but I gave up since I'd always wake up with my eye burning and sensitive for the whole morning

I definitely agree with this, Vaseline didn't do anything for me. I've been using castor oil now on my brows and lashes for about 3-4 years but it took approximately 6 months to begin to make a noticeable difference, while being extremely consistent as well. I have continued to see the benefits so it's staying a part of my routine for sure.

Where do you find yours? I've found stuff that has castor oil in it but it's either in something unsuitable for lashes or such a negligible amount it doesnt do anything.

Vaseline didn't work for me and neither did Castor oil. I have only gotten results with Latisse (RX in the US).

Vaseline holds in moisture which can help prevent breakage. It does not stimulate the hair follicles to help them grow; and I would not put vaseline on anything other than the tips of the hair. Like conditioner for the hair on your head. I have used it for a couple years now to help support growing my hair back after postpartum hair loss when I lost my eyelashes and eyebrow hair. I believe it serves its purpose and contributes to the health of the hair but you may need something else to stimulate actual hair growth first.

I've always used vaseline as a brow gel and although it looks nice, I'm more than sure it doesn't do anything as far as growth.

I've tried to put vaseline on every night on my lashes and brows for two weeks. The results never really fade away when I stopped. Never tried castor oil though.

Castor oil is the HG for hair growth. I got the Shea Moisture Castor Oil and Strengthening Shampoo and I'm telling you, my hair has grown like crazy. My brows have also from the shampooing. I think Vaseline is just moisturizing and doesn't it contain Petroleum Jelly?

don't vaseline and petroleum jelly mean the same thing?

I have really dry skin, so I've been using vaseline pretty much nightly on my face, eyes, eyebrows etc since I was 12 years old (I'm 20 now). There is absolutely no difference in growth, however I think it keeps everything hydrated which makes my lashes feel a lot stronger

I don't know if it's only for me because there is lot of people saying vaseline doesn't work for them but it does work for me. I just put it on every night casually.. and In the end of the month I definitely can see a result..:)

The only thing that worked for making my eyebrows grow was the Lumigan eyedrops applied on the eyebrows everyday. You can see growth and thickening around 4-6weeks and it's impressive.
Downside is that it costs a bit and if you stop using it, then the new growth can fall back again.

I've been brushing vaseline through my brows almost every night for about 3 years, and I didn't notice any growth. I only did this to reshape my brows a little more cleanly after my horrible high school eyebrow razor experiments, yikes. But I think they've come a long way in that respect :)

Yes!! I will advocate for Vaseline till the day I die
